Welcome to Peppe’s Bistro. Peppe’s offers an extensive wine list with over 30 bottles priced under $35.00 and a casual style menu consisting of Northern Italian and Continental Cuisine.
On October 31, 1948 in Yonkers, New York, Peppe married Ann Citarella. Her father, Michael, had established the now famous Citarella’s Fish Market and Restaurant in New York City. In 1953, Peppe and Ann, with their young family moved to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. A builder by trade, he constructed and operated several motels, hotels, and resorts in the area. Their growing family of five children all became of age in the hospitality industry.
In the early spring of 1980, the Farda family purchased a former steakhouse in East Stroudsburg, Pa. In four months it was transformed into the beginning of Peppe’s Ristorante, named after their father’s childhood nickname in Italy. Here Thomasso has been your host and the family representative for over thirty years. Through constant innovations and the dedication of Tom’s co-workers, Peppe’s has become one of the best italian restaurants in the Poconos.
Now, Peppe’s Bistro continues to offer their customers an excellent value, commitment to great food, professional service, and a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere. Executive Chef Orlando Andrade, meticulously prepares each of his daily specials with the freshest ingredients. His dedication to keeping Peppe’s on top of the newest cuisine trends has allowed him to create impressive menus, inspired by the rich flavors of Italian, street-side eateries and authentic Trattorias.

Peppe’s Bistro is the perfect choice whether you are beginning or ending an evening at the theater or nearby Skylanes Bowling Center, hosting a business meeting, celebrating a special occasion, or just dining out with the family.
